What is HYPNOSIS I?

This two-day training in basic Ericksonian structures is now available only on MP3 CD. You'll experience suggestibility tests, numerous approaches to naturalistic trance inductions, indirect and direct posthypnotic suggestion, double inductions and lots of demonstrations, all in the comfort of your own home! This MP3 CD is a requirement for Hypnosis II & III.

 

What is HYPNOSIS II & III?

This seven day training begins with four days on the hypnotic approaches of Milton Erickson, M.D. as modeled by John and Julie. The research and original material taught in this training, is the basis for their book Training Trances: Multi-level Communication in Therapy and Training. The final three days focus on more advanced models which Julie and John have created for emotional and physiological healing that utilize purely unconscious processes for change. This is a no nonsense training for those interested in deepening their competence in using hypnosis personally and professionally. Many graduates credit this intensive training with integrating their understanding and use, of not only hypnosis, but also NLP.

Course content:

Review of basic Ericksonian skills required to do more sophisticated, advanced techniques What to do after you've induced trance! How to do a complete hypnotherapy interview from beginning to end How to seamlessly transition in and out of ...that's right! How to construct relevant and precise metaphors How to easily elicit traditional hypnotic phenomena, including:   •catalepsy   •analgesia/anesthesia   •amnesia   •deep trance identification How to incorporate these techniques into your own personal style How to use Erickson's basic protocol for posthypnotic suggestions

Unconscious Healing & Beyond...
Course content:

Comprehensive hypnotic protocol for healing
• Unconscious factors instrumental in healing
• Learn to align the unconscious mind to promote healing
• Protocol for chronic physical and disease processes

Unconscious reviewing
• Hypermnesia (heightened unconscious memory recall) and time distortion used therapeutically and to accelerate learning

Advanced inductions using ideomotor signalling
• The difference between honest unconscious signals and conscious compliance
• Techniques to quickly induce trance while setting ideomotor signals

Pain control
• Erickson's most effective protocols for working with pain
• Incorporating these methods into your own style

Elicitation and utilization of complex hypnotic phenomena
• Techniques to best induce deep trance phenomena
• Train your clients (and yourself!) to be exceptional hypnotic subjects while still addressing therapeutic issues

Required:
Hypnosis I MP3 CD (Complete listening at least one time.)

Recommended prerequisites:
Training Trances (book), previous Hypnosis training OR Practitioner of NLP.

How do I prepare for Hypnosis II & III?

After you enroll, you will receive a confirmation letter which will outline how to prepare (reading and practice) for the training. We also offer an optional class if you want to refresh your hypnotic skills. It will be held on the evening prior to the first day of the training. If you are in town and would like to attend, please call our office and let us know! The cost for the refresher class is $45.00. Basic trance inductions, pacing and leading, suggestibility tests, and one method for eliciting catalepsy are examples of what is covered.

Can I become certified as a hypnotherapist?

Yes, we offer certifications as Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Master Hypnotherapist and Certified Trainer of Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis. Certification fees are in addition to training fees.

To Become a Certified Hypnotherapist:
1. Successful completion of Hypnosis I MP3 CD
2. Successful completion of Hypnosis II & III
3. Successful completion of written review
4. NLP Practitioner Certification OR 2 years clinical experience and prior documented, approved hypnosis training (15 hours)
5. Payment of current certification fee

To Become a Certified Master Hypnotherapist:
1. Successful completion of Hypnosis I MP3 CD
2. Successful completion of Hypnosis II & III
3. NLP Master Practitioner Certification
4. Prior Certification as a Hypnotherapist, approved by the International Institute for Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology™ and Hypnosis
5. Payment of current certification fee

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment may be paid in whatever way is most convenient for you by cash, personal check, money order, international money order, traveler's cheques, wire transfer of funds to our bank, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Card. Sorry we do not accept AMEX at this time. Additionally, we cannot accept foreign currency and checks drawn or written on foreign banks. If you would like to pay by check and you're outside of the USA, please go to your local bank and tell them you need a check in US funds this will need to be a bank check with US bank routing numbers on it or an international money order. We can happily accept those. For wire transfers, please call our office and we can provide you with all of the necessary banking information to make the actual transfer.

When you register, you will pay your deposit by whatever method you've selected. Many people like to pay the full cost of the training at time of registration. If you do not pay in full at registration, then your balance is due two weeks prior to the first day of the training (which is the last day of the early discount period). If you are using a credit card, and if for some reason your card is declined on that date, you may have to pay the higher rate for the training. So please make sure you have room on that card for your balance or please provide us with another card number, so you get the discount.

Will I receive a confirmation letter?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation letter after you enroll to prepare for Hypnosis II & III.
